The Wyoming Marathon and Rocky Mountain Double Marathon offers a unique challenge for road runners looking to conquer an ultramarathon and get a buckle. The race starts at the Lincoln Monument rest stop on I-80 ten miles east of Laramie, Wyoming, and runs through the Medicine Bow National Forest. 77% of the marathon and double marathon course is dirt road. There is also a 5K and a half marathon. The half marathon is held completely on dirt road.
